October 27, 2009

Q. Recent news reports show that revenue for local and state government is down substantially.  In general, if any additional taxes or funds should be needed to be raised or spent, which group of elected officials would you prefer to decide if, when and how revenue should be raised or spent:

City/County officials:  37%
State officials:   26%
Federal officials:   19%
No opinion:   18%

The poll of 522 Georgia residents was conducted on October 26th and was weighted by age, race, and gender. The poll has a maximum sampling error of +/- 4.2%.
