Arts and Culture Important to Georgians

An InsiderAdvantage / Majority Opinion Research poll of Georgia residents finds that nearly three out of four consider arts and culture an important contributor to the quality of life in their community.

Q. How important do you consider local arts, cultural activities and local organizations providing and teaching music, teaching dance, teaching history, experiencing the zoo, experiencing gardens, and other forms of art to the quality of life, education and economic development and tourism in your community?

The poll of 522 Georgia residents was conducted on October 27, 2009 and was weighted by age, race, and gender. The poll has a maximum sampling error of +/- 4.2%.
