Atlanta Residents Want Rail and Chance to Vote on a Tax for Transportation

An InsiderAdvantage / Majority Opinion Research poll of Atlanta residents finds that transportation remains a significant issue in the region’s economic competitiveness; that reducing the use of cars is the most important action residents can take to ensure a sustainable economic future in the city; that rail is the most preferred alternative to personal car use; and, that Atlanta residents want the opportunity to vote on a temporary sales tax dedicated to transportation improvements.
