In July Majority Opinion Research and InsiderAdvantage announced an unprecedented continuous tracking poll that would run from early July 2006 through the November elections. This tracking poll involved a new model developed by the firms consisting of both telephone and IVR (interactive voice response) data collection and a weighting scheme to reflect actual voter turnout. So far, the model has been extremely effective in predicting winners in all primary races polled. Even more impressive, this model predicted the Republican Lieutenant Governor’s race in Georgia between Ralph Reed and Casey Cagle and the 4th District House runoff between Cynthia McKinney and Hank Johnson to the percentage point.
Look for new releases from the poll through the November elections in many newspapers and local television stations, as well as on CNN and the Fox News Channel.
InsiderAdvantage/Majority Opinion Research is the official pollster of Creators Syndicate and is known in political, media and corporate circles for accuracy, objectivity, and expert interpretation of its polls. Their high-profile political and news-related polls have been praised – especially in Southern political races – by national media ranging from Judy Woodruff on CNN to Bill O’Reilly on Fox News Channel and others.
InsiderAdvantage/Majority Opinion Research polls have appeared in major media publications including the Sayfie Review, The Miami Herald, St. Petersburg Times, Knight-Ridder newspapers, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, New York Post, Business Week, US News and World Report, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, James Magazine, CBS News/CBS Market Watch, Morning Star and many others.
