An InsiderAdvantage / Majority Opinion Research poll asked Georgians about their views on transportation in a series of polls. Some of those results included:

Q. Would you like to have the chance to vote on a 10-year once-cent sales tax that would bring about a drastic reduction of traffic congestion in metro Atlanta and the completion and improvement of road projects in other parts of Georgia?
Yes: 38%
No: 36%

Q. Would you support or oppose the building of special roads or lanes for trucks only, if truckers paid the tolls?
Support: 62%
Oppose: 23%
Don’t know: 15%
Q. Would you be willing to pay a toll for the right to drive in less congested lanes with no trucks?
Yes: 35%

Q. If a bridge that you or your family frequently crosses were in need of expensive safety repairs, would you support or oppose a crossing toll that would make the bridge safe?
Support: 44%
Oppose: 36%
Undecided: 20%
A total of 500 interviews were conducted. The results were weighted by age, race, gender and political affiliation. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.3%.
