A Majority Opinion Research national poll of voters finds that a majority of American voters (55%) do not think that Donald Trump is actually going to run for President of the United States. This view is strongest among African-Americans (74%), males (60%) and Democrats (68%). Currently, only 26% of Republicans and 29% of independent voters believe Trump will enter the race.

The poll of 1,032 voters was conducted on May 4, 2001 and was weighted by age, race, gender and political party affiliation. The poll has a maximum sampling error of +/- 2.9%. |
