A Majority Opinion Research national poll of voters finds that three out of four American voters (76%) view the killing of Osama Bin Laden as a significant victory in the war against terror. Those age 18 – 29 are the least likely to view the event this way, as they were ages 8 – 19 at the time of the 2001 World Trade Center attacks and are therefore less likely to establish an opinion.
