A Majority Opinion Research national poll of voters finds that American voters give Barack Obama more credit for finding Osama Bin Laden, but not by much. The current President (45%) edges out the former (37%) by just eight percentage points, with two out of ten being undecided on the issue. Across party lines Democrats give more credit to Obama than Bush and Republicans give more credit to Bush than Obama. Independent voters are nearly evenly split in their opinions. Republicans are twice as likely to give credit to Obama (18%) than Democrats are to Bush (9%).
