You may recall that “Read MOR” is the theme of the book club that Erica McMillan, Director of Qualitative Services at Majority Opinion Research, started in 2007 for friends, clients and associates.
The club’s read for the 2008 holiday season was Paranoid Nation: The Real Story of the 2008 Fight for the Presidency, which explains why the 2008 race resulted in the frustration of almost every American.

“The presidential election was the most significant issue that Americans focused on in 2008 and was a major focus of our political polling team who polled almost every single day from the Iowa caucuses through election night and accurately predicted the results of the many primaries and the general election,” said McMillan. “Following such great focus on a single event, I wanted to cap the year off with an easy read that presents a behind the scenes summary of decades of events that brought us to the results of election night.”
