Bush Viewed as Helpful in Obama Transition

Nearly three out of four Americans (73%) see President Bush as being helpful during Barack Obama’s transition period, according to a poll conducted by Majority Opinion Research for Poll Position. The poll also found that four out of ten American’s (40%) saw President Bush as being more helpful during this transition than they expected.

Q. How helpful to Barack Obama do you believe President Bush has been during the transition period between the election and the inauguration?

More helpful than expected: 40%
As helpful as expected: 33%
Less helpful than expected: 10%
No Opinion: 17%
